Deepening common understanding on foreign and security policy between China and Germany

China and Germany have developed a very comprehensive and mutually beneficial strategic bilateral relationship. Given the challenges both countries are facing by the ever-changing international environment and the increasing pace of globalization, the foreign and security dialogue between China and Germany and the European Union is growing in importance. FES China is therefore supporting political dialogue mechanisms between Chinese and German decision-makers and academic experts on bilateral issues as well as regional and global affairs in order to contribute to finding joint solutions for common challenges. Together with its partners in China and Germany, FES aims at deepening mutual trust between China and Germany as well as supporting China's further integration into constructive multilateral institutions.
